Biography

Dr. Consky is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, originally from Ontario, Canada. His undergraduate studies were at Dartmouth College, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a major in biophysical chemistry. He then went on to complete a Masters of Public Health at the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. He completed dental school at SUNY Stony Brook in New York and went on to receive his medical degree and general surgery training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Consky is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has been actively involved in research and has participated and presented at numerous national meetings. He treats a broad scope of conditions affecting the face, mouth and jaws – including corrective jaw surgery, maxillofacial pathology, temporomandibular joint problems, facial reconstruction after injury or disease, wisdom teeth and dental implants.

Personal Interests

Dr. Consky and his wife, Hannah, have two children: a son and a daughter. They enjoy spending time outdoors kayaking, biking, and hiking with their Goldendoodle, Indy. He is excited to be part of the Asheville community and explore everything it has to offer.
