Biography
Dr. Blackburn is originally from Henderson, NC, but has always been drawn to Western North Carolina. His resume includes a bachelor’s degree from UNC Chapel Hill and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from East Carolina University. Following dental school, Dr. Blackburn completed two advanced dental residencies. He completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program immediately following dental school, and then attended UNC-Chapel Hill for his three-year residency where he received his master’s degree in prosthodontics.
Dr. Blackburn looks forward to partnering with Rockcliff and using his specialized training to serve the people of WNC.

Personal Interests
An Eagle Scout, Dr. Blackburn enjoys participating in anything that can get him outside and active, such as running, fly fishing and backpacking. He also enjoys playing guitar whenever he finds time.
